The conscious singer has released his first full-length album with titles like “Love Jah and Live” and “Boast Not Myself,” the CD’s seventeen tracks are designed, says Warrior King, to “uplift people’s heart, mind and soul in a positive way.

The Slackers have been spreading their gospel of “Jamaican Rock N Roll” for 21 years now. Influenced by Jamaican ska/reggae originators, like the Skatalites and the Upsetters they play it with a decidedly American accent. This band is equally appreciative of old blues, country, 60s soul, rock, and R&B as it is of reggae, rocksteady, dub, and Ska.
